Ready to have a good time

This year, we will back to our roots. We know many of you travel from different parts of the world for this event. And we know that most of you are not only looking forward to playing Beach Volley but also have an interest in chilling out and meeting new people. Let’s have fun!

IMPORTANT NEWS

From May 7th to May 11th you can participate to the BVAW Training camp : all the training camp participants will be given priority and special price to the tournament registration. Registration for the training camp is open now with an early bird price until 31 Jan and get a special discount – use code “ORIGINS”

  • This year the tournament will be open only to 150 teams – registration are open

Are you looking forward to Mallorca?

Relax on the beaches of Palmanova – Calvia, enjoy the cuisine, live with the local people, stroll along their archaeological memory …  In Calvia you will discover more than 30 beaches and coves, some of them with Blue Flag and with the Q of tourist quality. Hiking and bicycle short and long trails in the Sierra Tramuntana. Golf, diving and of course Beach Volleyball with BVAW.

We will live a special edition in an exceptional moment, which we will surely remember for the rest of our lives.

In consideration of the ever-changing situation linked to Covid-19 and its possible repercussions on travel and stays, we recommend that you always take out a cancellation policy for flights and hotel bookings that can reduce or avoid your risk of economic loss.

GETTING READY!

Competition schedule

Friday 12 May (2×2 mixed) and Saturday 13 May (2×2 women and men)
The games start at 9.00 & the Warmup in Palmanova center court

Sunday 14 May (final rounds 2×2 women and Men)
The competition start at 9.30

Each team must be at the assigned playing field 15 minutes before the official start time. The BVAW staff will deliver the game act and a ball per field to start the competition.

In order to receive the playing ball, it’s necessary to bring a DNI that will be retained until its return. Once the first round of matches is completed, the game records and balls will be collected.

Teams that have played the first round at Magaluf must remain on that beach until the organization to know the fixture for the second round.  If you need to change beach, you will have 30 minutes.

How to arrive

Palma de Mallorca’s airport is reached by several airlines from all over the world, and there are many Low-Cost flights arriving directly from the main European cities.

From the airport to Palmanova
There are many ways to get from the airport to Palmanova. The easiest way is to get a taxi from the airport terminal especially if you are more than 2 people, it takes 21 mn. Or you can rent a car at the airport. The third option is to get to Palmanova by public transport. This is made in two stages: First, you have to get a bus to Palma city center. It takes 20 minutes to arrive at Plaza España. Once there you’ve got to walk some 300 m. to the bus station to bus 104 or 105 that will take you to Palmanova.
