Let’s meet at Hang Loose Beach, perfectly situated on the Tyrrhenian coast of the Gulf of St.Euphemia, set within the 15,000 square meters of the Gizzeria Lido beach sports park.

This year, at BVAW we feel fortunate to go back to this beautiful region of Calabria.
BVAW will offer you another great Beach Volleyball experience with our partner Hang Loose Beach at Lido di Gizzeria Lido, is a resort town located is a seaside town in central Calabria, on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
It has a great youth crowd with good music and various activities and animation focused on the sport.
Sand beach has good infrastructure. Its waters are crystal clear and of a changing blue due to the plays of light created by the sun reflecting off the sea bed.

A new BVAW experience
We will live a new Beach Volleyball experience for training to tournaments with our Hang Loose Beach partner , which we will surely remember for the rest of our lives.
Training camp, tournaments & Beach parties will be hold on the Hang Loose Beach.
Hang Loose Beach is a 15,000 sq m seaside sports park.
The beach club, the terraces, which overlook the sea, the restaurant-pizzeria, the beach bar, the green areas and the mini club dedicated to children, together with the fields of beach volleyball, street basketball and a spectacular skate park.
The water sports that can be practiced (kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand up paddle (sup), sailing, canoeing) make their establishment unique in its kind.
Sport, events, parties, games, typical cuisine and good music will fill your days until late in the evening.

Each team must be at the assigned playing field 15 minutes before the official start time. The BVAW staff will deliver the game sheet and a ball per field to start the competition.
In order to receive the playing ball, it’s necessary to bring a DNI that will be retained until its return. Once the first round of matches is completed, the game records and balls will be collected.

GENERAL RULES
You need to be a BVAW member to participate. If you’re not, you can always apply for a year membership on the BVAW Sky.
PLAYER RULES
Our tournaments are amateur and consequently, the spirit that must distinguish the competitions is the one of friendship.

Hang Loose Beach can easily be reached by flying to Lamezia Terme international airport (SUF).
The distance between Lamezia Terme international airport and Hang Loose Beach is 10,6 km.
There are 2 ways to to get from Lamezia airport to Hang Loose Beach :

The quickest way to get from Lamezia Terme international airport to Hang Loose Beach is the taxi which costs around €28 and takes 12 mn.
THE GOOD NEWS IS:
that we will have a FREE courtesy pullman service by our partner Hang Loose Beach between the airport and the beach or/and the cottage.
